Dr. Debajyoti is a physicist specializing in soft condensed matter and biophysics, with extensive experience in mentoring students, teaching both experimental and theoretical physics, organizing scientific events, and conducting impactful research leading to high-quality publications and successful international collaborations.
He has significant expertise in NMR spectroscopy, light scattering, and various spectroscopic techniques used to explore biomolecular structure, function, and dynamics.
Dr. Debajyoti earned his PhD in Soft Condensed Matter and Biophysics from the Department of Physics, IIT Kharagpur. He subsequently held postdoctoral fellowships at TIFR Hyderabad and the University of Birmingham, UK. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at MAEER's MIT, Mumbai, where he teaches Applied Physics.
