Himanshu Chourasiya is a theoretical physicist with a research focus on high-energy physics, gravitation, black holes, and cosmology. His work primarily involves characterizing quantum entanglement in holographic theories and exploring fundamental aspects of the black hole information paradox, including the Page curve and the island paradigm.
He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He holds an M.Sc. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a B.Sc. in Science from University Maharaja College, Jaipur. He has also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
His research focuses on theoretical high-energy physics, gravitation, black holes, and cosmology, with particular emphasis on quantum entanglement in holographic theories, the black hole information paradox, the Page curve, and the island paradigm.
